IN CASE NO ONE HAS TOLD YOU LATELY...
You’ve probably tried everything. Boundaries, consequences, rewards - and nothing seems to help for long (or at all.)
You’re not failing. Those methods were never designed for PDA kids or their unique brains.
What your child needs isn’t firmer rules; it’s safety, trust, and understanding.
IT DOESN'T HAVE TO FEEL THIS HARD
Parenting a PDA kid can feel like you’re constantly guessing your way through something no one really prepared you for. You love your child deeply, but the strategies you’re told are supposed to help often make things worse. It’s exhausting. And over time, it can leave you questioning yourself and feeling less connected than you want to be.
There is another way to approach this — one that works with your instincts instead of against them, and that centers the safety and connection your child actually needs.
The PDA Parenting Lab is a self-paced course designed to help you step out of the constant cycle of managing behavior and into a more collaborative, steady way of parenting. You’ll learn what’s happening underneath your child’s behavior, how their nervous system shapes what you see day to day, and how to create conditions that make things feel more manageable for both of you.
This isn’t about becoming a perfect parent or following a rigid method. It’s about shifting how you understand your child, building trust in yourself, and finding your way back to a sense of connection at home.
You don’t have to figure it all out on your own. Sometimes what changes things most is having a new lens — and support in learning how to use it.
This isn’t just another parenting program. It’s a mindset shift, a nervous system reset, and a path back to trust, confidence, and connection in your home.
You don’t have to do this alone. You just need a new perspective and the tools to use it.

Lindsay listened to our story and was able to empathize right away with what we’ve been through in trying to support our high-needs kids. Her compassion and solidarity have been a balm in a hard season. With Lindsay’s support, reframes, and practical ideas, my confidence in where we are as a family has changed, and to move forward, I really needed that.

You just have to understand them.
I'm a therapist of over 10 years, a late-diagnosed ADHD woman, and a lover of fancy coffee and good books.
When I gave birth to my first child in 2014, I was quickly baffled. Who let me parent this kid? Why did all of the things the parenting books suggested seem to make his behavior worse? I was definitely messing this all up...
It wasn't until our son received an autism diagnosis at age 7 and we stumbled across PDA that everything clicked into place. We were going about this all wrong. Rather than having behavior issues to be solved through rewards and consequences, he needed nervous system support and co-regulation.
I've been where you are! I saved myself... and you can, too.
