Parenting and Partnership with PDA:

A Relational Approach to Thriving Together

For couples raising (and maybe being) PDAers. Who want to stop walking on eggshells, finding their footing together, and build a relationship that can withstand the hard stuff.

We Need This!

The Quiet Truth a Lot of Us are Living

You love your partner. You love your child. And you're exhausted.

Maybe your child's PDA feels like the center of every conflict. Maybe one of you is PDA too, and the increased demands of parenting have fried adult nervous systems. Or maybe you're carrying resentment because parenting like this feels impossible without support.

You've tried to communicate calmly to "get on the same page." But every attempt seems to lead back to the same cycles of shutdown, explosion, or avoidance.

"Our relationship is falling apart under the weight of parenting our PDA kid."

If that hits, you're in the right place.

There's a Better Way Forward

You don't need to be perfect partners or parents.

You need a shared map for how your nervous systems, needs, and fears are colliding - and what to do about it.

This isn't about blame. It's about safety. Because safety (not strategy) is what makes connection possible again.

What's Inside:

  • Co-taught video lessons with Lindsay and Daryl. Blending practical relationship psychology and real-world PDA experience.
  • Scripts, prompts, and worksheets to help you practice new ways of relating and repairing.
  • Real examples from both perspectives - the PDA partner and the PDA parent.
  • Bonus Q+A where we answer your real life questions.
  • Self-paced, bite-sized content. You can go slow, rewatch, or pause when you need to.

 You'll Learn How To:

  • Understand what's happening beneath your conflict cycles and threat responses.
  • Communicate without triggering shutdowns or explosions.
  • Work through resentment and repair after hard moments.
  • Find common ground when one partner isn't "on board" with the PDA lens.
  • Support your child and your relationship - without losing yourself in the process.

These lessons draw from evidence-based couples therapy models (like EFT and Gottman), adapted through a neurodiversity-affirming, nervous-system-informed lens.

This isn’t just surface-level theory.  You’ll walk away with grounded, practical tools that actually fit your life.

What Makes This Different:

We're not teaching this as experts looking in. We're teaching it as partners living it every day. Our marriage, parenting, and work are all shaped by PDA.

We know what it's like when even small requests feel like pressure.

We know how fast things can spiral when both nervous systems are on edge.

And we know what it takes to come back together over and over again.

This is for families who want to stay connected through the hard.

HEY THERE!

I'm Lindsay

I'm a therapist of over 10 years, a late-diagnosed ADHD woman, and a lover of fancy coffee and good books.

When I gave birth to my first child in 2014, I was quickly baffled. Who let me parent this kid? Why did all of the things the parenting books suggested seem to make his behavior worse? I was definitely messing this all up...

It wasn't until our son received an autism diagnosis at age 7 and we stumbled across PDA that everything clicked into place. We were going about this all wrong. Rather than having behavior issues to be solved through rewards and consequences, he needed nervous system support and co-regulation.

I've been where you are! I saved myself... and you can, too.

Is This Course For You?

you'll benefit most if...

You're tired of conflict cycles that leave you both feeling misunderstood

You want tools and language for calmer communication

You want to repair instead of resent - but you aren't sure how
